I like it a lot—super practical and easy to use. The magnets hold my 365 XL very well. I love that it’s not too bulky, and installation was very easy.

That is one of the biggest upgrades. The 4.0 uses a wider interior channel designed to create more room for many popular light-equipped setups.
ARMOTECH specifically designed the new channel around popular options such as TLR-7, TLR-1, Olight and more.
THE GOAL: carry your complete setup instead of removing your light just to use the mount.Yes. The 4.0 was redesigned with full 360° rotational positioning.
That means you can install the mount and then adjust the angle around the position that works best for your vehicle, desk, nightstand or other setup.

I ordered the 3.0 and was pleasantly surprised when I got the 4.0! Thank you for the upgrade. This mount is very impressive and easy to install. It works with all my guns, 9mm to full size 1911 .45's with and without optics and laser sights. Highly recommended.
Almost, I have a RIA 1911 EFS in 45 ACP with an Olight Baldor Mini. Just not enough room. Not too mad tho, my other pistols will fit. Need just a little bit more room for the 45.
I originally ordered to 3.0 mounts and they were absolute quality mounts. The only issue I had (my fault) was they did not hold a Springfield XD frame (slight width issue). The 4.0 takes care of this issue (I’ve ordered four to send a few to others!) with the same high quality construction. I love the magnetic retention and the super solid feel of the mount in the vehicle. Armotech makes a quality product and listens to the customers and their reviews! HIGHLY recommended!
The products from this company are absolutely great. I have multiple holsters. I installed them in three different cars, my work, and house. Guns are secured, and easily accessible. Install takes just minutes. I ordered the 4.0 just this past week and somehow received the new 4.0 which is even better than the 4.0. It now holsters a flashlight, and rotates. I was going to get the 4.0 anyways, but I’m glad I was able to get it before it was released
This is a Great Product, comes as advertised and looks great. Holds my 9 perfectly and no issues with install. Just when you install it, use backing tape with screws, ain't going nowhere. I must add also there was No gift card as well. But its cool. I purchased these wondering would it hold my .45, and Yes comfortably as well. The Magnetic force holding the gun in place is Awesome. No movement, and easily to get gun out. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great Vehicle gun holder. 👍

Hold it. I worked on my review. Here is the better review I installed the new ARMOTECH 4.0 Mount on the driver’s side panel of my 2014 Ford Explorer, near the front seat. I found this to be a very convenient location, and the mount works well for my Walther PDP FS 5” handgun. Finding the right mount has been challenging because my handgun has both a compact weapon light near the trigger guard and a red dot optic. The 4.0 Mount accommodates my setup well and provides a secure and convenient location. One small issue I noticed was that the corner was sharp. It didn’t bother me when getting in or out of the vehicle, but while driving it could rub against or irritate my leg. I filed it down to smooth it out, and after that adjustment it became much more comfortable. Overall, I’m pleased with the ARMOTECH 4.0 Mount and the way it works with my particular handgun and vehicle setup. The ability to customize the mount slightly made it even more comfortable for my use.
Very impressed, fits perfect next to the steering column of my peterbilt 389. All I do is Tx-ok hauling oilfield chemicals, so there are plenty of rough roads that I travel each day. Gun stays put, doesn’t rattle, and I’m still waiting for the spare clip to fall but so far so good. I can easily say this is exactly what I wanted. Thank you

I appreciate the upgrade you sent. Was going to have to put some spacers behind the base, in order to slip my hand behind my gun. With the added spacer between the mounting plate and the magnetic gun holder, it works great.

Here are a couple of pictures of the 4.0 Mount in my vehicles. One is my 2020 GMC pickup and the other is in. 1999 GMC pickup I use on my property. Both have been exceptional and I highly recommend this product. After work I now unholster my work firearm (pictured) and place in the mount allowing my to remove my gun belt and vest for my drive home knowing I have instant access to my firearm. The 4.0 keeps the firearm secure whether on the highway home or bouncing down the gravel roads. Thanks great design!
I have one in my truck (photo) and one I'll be installing under my desk in my office most likely. It's a great product. I have a Sig P365, which is pretty compact. So it fits pretty loose in the mount, but not so loose that it flops around all over the place, so the mount does a great job of keeping it secure. It's tight enough and secure enough (thanks to the magnets) that it stays right where it's at with minimal jostling. My full size carry fits really snug, but perfectly so. It slides out just as quickly and smoothly as the Sig. So it is really well designed! Great product! Thanks for making it!

I've tried several "in vehicle" gun mounts with no real solution. I ordered my Armotech thinking it may be the solution I was looking for. Admittedly, I have no inclination to tap screws into my truck's interior, so I need it I've tried several "in vehicle" gun mounts with no real solution. I ordered my Armotech thinking it may be the solution I was looking for. Admittedly, I have no inclination to tap screws into my truck's interior, so I need it stay put with the 3M tape. When it arrived I quickly loved the mount itself, its retention of my handguns, and its sturdy build. I mounted it under and to the right of my steering wheel. The next morning it was in the floorboard. Not yet willing to give up, I got some velcro, reattached it and it's been there ever since. The two improvements I recommend are 1. Better adhesive attachments and 2. A way to get a little better purchase on the handgun when drawing it from the mount. Overall, a good setup and one I recommend. I appreciate the product and its purpose!
Love the mount. Been looking for something like this for a while. It works great! Trying to decide where to put the other one. Probably in a vehicle just need to check state law. Could definitely use another one!
Absolutely love it . Bought 2 one for my ram and one for my hellcat challenger. Easy to access. Holds my glock 19 gen 5 perfectly with a extra mag. Probably the safest mount on the market. Gaurds the trigger well . Others mounts I had in the past I wouldn't even chamber a round because of safety concerns with discharge. To me the most secure gun mount on the market.
Excellent product. My only suggestion would be to make the backing on the holster a bit tackier. It doesn’t stay super great without screws, which I didn’t particularly want to do to the truck, but it isn’t a big deal. (Maybe it’s meant to have the screws anyways and not hold firm based on the sticky backing alone, I’m not sure) Either way, I’m very satisfied and it fits every single pistol I own. I definitely would recommend to friends and purchase more in the future.

I will spread the word of your company to everyone I know that carries everyday. Even my inch and a quarter Sig Sauer p365 fuse perfectly fits in and out with no problem. That's my Springfield XD 45 in the truck with the extra magazine in my 91 F-150. The location is perfect as well. It doesn't affect my clutch work or my right leg with the gas pedal and braking. It's not in the way of my stickshift either. So thank you again for such a fine product! I love my truck. Now I love it more thanks to Armotech.

This product is great, easy to mount and position the way I won’t. Fits all my Glocks with lights on them.
I would leave a negative star but it won’t let me. I ordered the 4.0. Waited till the launch. Ordered 4 of them and now I’ve got 8-3.0 holsters. Sent them a mail but haven’t heard back. Will never do business here again. Good luck all!!! Hope this helps.

I ordered two of these magnet mounts during a buy two get a $20.00 gift card. I never received the gift card. I’ve emailed customer service twice and no reply about the card. This is too bad. I like the product but cannot recommend them.
The magnets on this mount are extremely strong and hold with real authority. The problem is that my P365 sits very loosely in the mount itself; there’s enough play that the gun doesn’t feel securely retained. The bigger issue is that I never received the $20 gift card that was advertised on the site and listed on my invoice.
